Book Review: Kathmandu: A pocketful of momos

Kathmandu:A pocketful of momos, published by Photo. Circle, is a collaborative book of photographs by 38 young artists from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Norway.

Kathmandu:A pocketful of momos

It has a collection of photographs of street life in Kathmandu. Each image is that of a fleeting moment within the city, some moments that you can see nearly everyday there too.

Inside Kathmandu:A pocketful of momos

Buying A pocketful of momos for me had a more meaningful reason than to just look at the photographs, it was to help me remember the everyday scenes I saw walking from Lalitpur to Thamel on the northern side of the Bagmati river.

Inside Kathmandu:A pocketful of momos

A pocketful of momos published by Photo. Circle is a good sized coffee table style, soft back book, with nice semi gloss paper stock inside.

I would recommend this book to anybody who has travelled to Nepal, anybody into travel photography, or wishes to have an insight into what happens on Nepali streets.
